Likes UP: Facebook Now Lets You Edit Comments

Google Plus as always let you edit comments.  Immediately or weeks later. That has been a big plus for Google+.

Now Facebook lets you edit comments and it is big news.

You could edit Facebook posts with photos before today.  You could edit Facebook comments on posts within 5 seconds of pressing enter before today.

But the big news hit on Twitter as a trending topic.

Perhaps it was Design Taxi or Mashable that started the trend.  The big news shared by Facebook to Mashable  is “showing the editing history for a comment so that subsequent commenters or likers have the full context of the conversation.” That way if someone responds to a comment that gets edited commenters in the future can see the history of the conversation and not get lost.
