Likes UP:  Gmail’s New Look #likesup

Last month Google changed the look and feel of the GMAIL interface.

Gmail users were alerted of this change when they logged into their Gmail account.

Jason, the User Experience Designer, was ready to share the details of the modern look, the new themes, the clean “conversations”, the improved search features, added control and more in a video.

Note in the image about, from the gmail demo that Jason has on YouTube, his Gmail address is listed and beside it a number in a red box.  That indicates that he has several notifications on Google Plus.

His name is on the far left of the task bar with a + symbol in front of his first name.  By clicking +Jason, it takes him directly to his Google+ account.  Everything is accessible from within Gmail.  If you want to use Google Plus you need a free Gmail account.
