Enhavim: From Dream to Enhavim

Enhavim: The Dreams That You Dare to Dream

The dreams that you dare to dream, really do come true when you go from ‘dream to enhavim.’ This phrase ‘the dreams that you dare to dream, really do come true’ comes from the famous song ” Over the Rainbow,”often known as“Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
Here are the lyrics:

Over the Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There’s a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

Someday I’ll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh, why can’t I?

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh, why can’t I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can’t I?

“Over the Rainbow” Has a Fascinating Backstory

“Over the Rainbow,” a beloved song that has transcended generations,
holds a fascinating backstory that delves into the cultural and historical roots of its creators.

This song was popularized by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz and contrary to popular belief, this timeless tune wasn’t inspired by the mythical Land of Oz. This song had its origins deeply intertwined with the Jewish heritage of its songwriters, Yip Harburg and Harold Arlen.

The lyricist behind this iconic melody, Yip Harburg, was born Isidore Hochberg on April 8, 1896, as the youngest of four children in a family of Russian-Jewish immigrants. Raised in a Yiddish-speaking, Orthodox Jewish household in New York, Harburg’s childhood was infused with the traditions, values, and stories of his cultural heritage. The composer, Harold Arlen, had a similar background, born Hyman Arluck on February 15, 1905, was the son of a cantor, with parents hailing from Lithuania. These shared Jewish backgrounds fostered a connection between the two artists that would become instrumental in crafting the lyrics and melody of ” Over the Rainbow.”

When Harburg and Arlen collaborated on this song, they delved into their immigrant Jewish consciousness, drawing inspiration from a profound sense of history and the looming threat of the Holocaust. Their composition merged a hauntingly beautiful melody with near-prophetic lyrics, crafting a masterpiece that would stand the test of time.

The song, Over the Rainbowshowcases the creative genius of Harburg and Arlen, and their ability to channel their cultural and historical experiences into a song that has touched the hearts of people worldwide. We read about the rainbow in the Jewish Bible, in the second chapter of Noah. “The rainbow will be in the clouds and I will see it and remember the eternal covenant between G‑d and all the living souls on earth.”   Additionally, the prophet Ezekiel described a vision in which he had seen the divine presence “like a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, with a corona around it; this was how the glory of G‑d appeared, and I saw it and fell on my face and heard a voice speaking….”

Over the Rainbow” eventually gained widespread acclaim and recognition, earning the title of the 20th century’s No. 1 song from the Recording Industry Association of America and the National Endowment for the Arts. The emotional depth and universal appeal of the song’s message resonated with audiences far beyond their cultural and historical origins.

In many ways, the song’s enduring power can be attributed to its universal themes. The lyrics’ sentiment, “And the dreams that you dare to dream / Really do come true,” goes beyond its Jewish roots to inspire hope and perseverance in the face of adversity for people of all backgrounds. The melody, with its evocative and dreamy quality, allows listeners to escape to their own personal utopias, wherever they may be.  The song’s poignant message continues to serve as a beacon of hope and a reminder of the power of dreams.

“Your Daring Dream Designs the Theme Realized through Enhavim”

Dreams take you from the ethereal world of imagination to the concrete realm of Enhavim. A dream is a powerful force that resides within the hearts and minds of individuals and teams, often the starting point for any meaningful endeavor. It’s the spark of inspiration that ignites the flames of progress and innovation.

If not captured, dreams alone can be fleeting. They may be beautiful, inspiring, and full of potential, but without a clear direction and purpose, they can remain as unfulfilled aspirations. This is where Enhavim steps in to bridge the gap.

Enhavim-driven Endeavor “From Dream to Enhavim”

  1. The Visionary Source Code: With Enhavim, dreams are the raw material, and vision is the source code. It’s the moment when you take that abstract dream and begin to refine it, to shape it into something that can be communicated and shared. A vision is your dream in high definition, with a clear picture of what you want to achieve.
  2. Guided by Purpose and Mission: To transition from dream to Enhavim, you need a guiding philosophy: “purpose and mission led by vision.” Your purpose defines the ‘why’ behind your endeavor, the deep-rooted reason for pursuing your dream. Your mission is the ‘how’—the strategic plan to achieve your vision. Enhavim reminds us that these elements must be harmoniously aligned with your vision.
  3. Team Collaboration: Enhavim recognizes the power of teams. Dreams can be personal, but the realization of BIG Dreams often requires collective effort. Teams are like the stars that light up the night sky, each contributing their unique brilliance to the grand tapestry of your vision. They are drawn together by the magnetic force of a shared dream. Dream > Team > Enhavim.
  4. Optimal Creation Framework: Enhavim is not just about bridging dreams with teams; it’s about optimizing the framework. It offers a framework that streamlines the process from a mere dream to a well-defined Enhavim-driven endeavor. This framework enables you to work with clarity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  5. A Guiding Light: Think of Enhavim as the vison with guiding light in the darkest of nights. It’s the North Star that keeps you on course, and reminds you that every action, every decision, every effort is driven by that initial dream, that vision of the future you see.
  6. The Passionate Pursuit: The process from dream to Enhavim is a dynamic and ongoing. Dreams evolve, and so do visions. The purpose fuels you and mission fulfills your Enhavim as it adapts to challenges and opportunities that arise. Enhavim is the compass that keeps you moving forward to your destination, no matter how many times the path shifts.

Enhavim is the engine behind the transformative power of dreams when they are guided by a clear vision, purpose, and mission. It’s the journey of turning mere wishes into tangible, meaningful endeavors. So, dare to dream, and use Enhavim as your framework to bring those dreams to life and make a lasting legacy and impact on the world.

Your Daring Dream Designs the Theme Realized through Enhavim

Enhavim (dreams in a poem)

In the quiet of the night, I close my eyes so tight,

I see a world of wonder, a vision shining bright,

A dream so bold, a story to be told,

I’m reaching for the stars, my spirit uncontrolled.

I feel the fire burning, a passion deep within,

With every step I’m taking, my journey will begin,

I’ll shape my dream with purpose, my mission to define,

In the world of Enhavim, my vision will align.

We’ll build a bridge to the future, where dreams become so clear,

With a team that’s strong and true, we’ll conquer every fear,

In the heart of every dreamer, the Enhavim will rise,

With determination in our eyes, we’ll reach for the skies.

As we journey onward, through every twist and turn,

We’ll learn to never falter, our dreams we’ll never spurn,

With Enhavim as our compass, our guide through thick and thin,

We’ll find our way together, and let the dream begin.

From dream to Enhavim, we’ll chase the morning light,

With purpose, mission, led by vision, we’ll take flight,

In the world we’re creating, we’ll keep our dreams in sight,

From dream to Enhavim, we’ll make our world unite.
