Facebook switched over all Facebook Pages (fan pages, business pages) yesterday, March 30, 2012, to the Timeline format. Facebook and Networked blogs have made it easy to get blog articles from within Facebook with an easy to install app. The app icon displays under the cover photo and beside the about description of the Facebook page.
Facebook wants you to BE ALWAYS on Facebook. The new pages have the ability to iFrame in your website, or blog, or use Networked blogs to have your articles display within a Facebook app. You made look at networked blogs from outside of Facebook but if you want to add a blog, you must be logged into Facebook.
Some apps use terms such ask “like” or “vote.” Networked blogs uses the term UP. The Hacker Way insists on Facebook connection even to vote “UP” on an article. When you you like the article vote UP which is in alignment with the concept of Likes UP. Social sharing, social recommending, social voting is giving your vote so the score goes up and up and up. The most popular blog articles get top billing on Networked Blogs. That gets a #likesup!
Networked blogs uses Google Adsense to monetize its efforts. What’s interesting is that the same ad keeps appearing and it is for Google Plus – definitely not Facebook.
