Can it be true that the LIKE BUTTON on Facebook or on any social media platform on the web can inspire soon-to-be-parents to name their child… LIKE?

Lior and Vardit Adler are the proud parents of a bouncing baby girl named after the Facebook Like button.

This immediately reminded me of the 1996 television episode on Seinfeld with George wanting “Seven” as a Baby’s Name.

What is interesting about the Mashable article is that it notes the couple naming their baby “LIKE” are Israeli.  Back to “Seven” as a Baby’s Name, many Israeli’s name their daughters Sheva or Batsheva.  Sheva means seven.
