Charlotte Blank, Social Media Manager at General Motors says you need to know who you are talking to.  For example Camaro owners want to know about awesome car stuff.  Chevrolet owners are focused on lifestyle.

HP.com Director of Worldwide Search, Paul Vallez, says that Digital Interaction is key NOT just traffic.  Actions taken are more important than just showing up.

Correlating the Value of a LIKE has many determinants. 

Social Media part of the cost of doing business like having a phone or a website.

You can’t put your community team or single person in the spot to address all content mentions and queries. Get more ppl involved. #oms12oms12-sd

Create your own corporate content about products and services.  But, it’s also VERY important to have your company and products we seen in video and written about in content created by others such as bloggers and crowd sourced content.  Get the right content with the right message to the right customer.
